GARAGE SESSIONS
In 2020, along with many other businesses, we had to pivot, so we decided to setup a temporary studio in our garage. What started as a makeshift solution to take some photos has now become a frequently used space to create beautiful images. Garage Sessions was started to give people an opportunity to update their portraits as the world began to return to the new normal, and now we periodically host Garage Sessions to give people the chance to get a new portrait. There are FAQs below and a calendar with available dates and background colors. We are looking forward to capturing your portrait!

FAQs
How much does it cost and what do I get out of it?
$115 is due at booking. With that, you get one (1) high-res edited photo for personal use (and obviously a lot of laughs and a change of scenery from your usual day-to-day). Professional/commercial use licenses can be purchased on-site at your shoot (see next question) for an additional $84 ($199 total). Any additional photos can also be purchased for $99 each.
What does personal use mean?
Posting your portrait on your personal social media accounts. Update those profile pictures for the world to see. Printing a photo for your mama. Send it over to DivvyUp and print your face on some socks. You can also put them on your personal blog. Stuff that’s specifically for you and about you.
If you are looking to use this image in connection with your business, there will be an additional $84 fee ($199 total). Examples of professional/commercial use: Using the image(s) on your company’s website. Putting your portrait on your business card. Using images on a website/social media promoting goods or services.
We want to make sure this is attainable for everyone but we don’t want to seriously undercut others in our community doing the same thing because no one wins at that point.

Where do the Garage Sessions take place?
All the Garage Sessions take place in Tallahassee in our garage studio. You’ll get the location address and more info 24 hours before your scheduled session..
How does it work?
This is not meant to be stressful or complicated in any way! We want you to be comfortable and confident. When you arrive, let us know you’re here and we’ll walk you back to the space. We want to honor your time, as well as the time of others who have signed up, so please try to be on time so we can maximize our time together.
Some people love having their photos taken, but most people hate it. Either way, you’re in good hands and we’ll make it as fun as we can. We’ll get started shortly after you arrive. Your time slot is 15-30 minutes but it shouldn’t take that long so you’ll be in and out in no time.
We will be offering different color backdrops on different days. Choose your day based on what color backdrop you like the best.
When do I get my photo(s)?
Finished images are typically delivered within 3-5 business days unless otherwise discussed. Your images will be delivered digitally with options to download Web Resolution and High Resolution versions. We suggest downloading both. Web Resolution doesn’t mean bad. It means it is formatted to look best when uploaded.
Can I edit my photo after I get it?
We would really prefer you don’t edit these portraits after you receive them. We have worked hard to figure out how to light a space well, get a great photograph, and edit it as it’s needed, so we would appreciate you not doing anything to alter the image after we send it over (like Instagram filters…if people still even use those?).
Our office needs new headshots, do you have a group rate?
Of course! If you have more than 3 portraits needed for your business or organization, we charge a flat hourly rate. Email us at hello@wearetheworkmans.com for more information.
I signed up but I need to cancel. What do I do?
If you cancel more than 48 hours in advance, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel within 24-48 hours, you will receive a 50% refund. If you cancel within 24 hours, you will not receive a refund. We are happy to work with you to reschedule if possible.
